Sustainability Reporting

Water Utilities Australia has committed to producing an annual Sustainability Report. The report has been established to set the benchmark of Water Utilities Australia's current sustainability practices. This will enable performance tracking over the coming years as the focus remains on continual improvement.

Water Utilities Australia is committed to implementing, maintaining and continually improving an integrated management system to improve our quality, health and safety and environmental performance for the benefit of our customers, our staff and the wider community.

Water Utilities Australia's integrated management system is third-party certified to the requirements of ISO9001, ISO45001, and ISO14001.

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

Lightsview ReWater supports the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) where possible throughout the business. The 17 SDGs were established at the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development in 2012, replacing the Millennium Development Goals. The SDGs were established to address the challenges the world faces related to poverty, climate, inequality, health, economic development, environmental degradation, peace and justice. Lightsview ReWater’s progress in contributions towards meeting the 17 SDGs is published in WUA’s annual Sustainability Report.
